My name is Carlos Basto and I am a project manager for a landscaping company in sunny Santa Barbara, CA. It’s a grind in this little bubble town, but when I’m not hustling you can find me doing many different things outside. Biking, hiking, hammocking, and hacky-sacking…you get it. I also enjoy saving money by cooking my own 3-Star Michelin meals and growing my own vegetables.
I grew up in a few different places in a lot of different homes. At first, I didn’t like math, but during sixth grade, I liked baseball, which ultimately made me like math. So I went on to study electrical engineering because of music, not baseball and ended up in a beach town that I now call home…Santa Barbara.
Now, I enjoy working outdoors, designing & building things, and creating websites – hire me for your dirty work. Also, I enjoy designing landscapes and tending to my garden. You can often find me at local bike events, festivals, hot springs, workshops, or other community gatherings. I hope to one day travel to Alaska before the glaciers melt, travel America in a camper van, and backpack Europe.
I do it for the fam.
